Reported violence closes Gahanna nursing home
Assaults among residents among other violations have led to a Gahanna nursing home closing. Bon-Ing Care and Rehabilitation might have its license revoked because of reports of violent issues that haven’t been fixed in the nursing home. It was found that five residents has assaulted 10 other residents in the home. One incident included a person hitting another in the head three times and then a few days later the first victim punched another in the face, according to the Dispatch. Later he then crawled from his room to his former roommate’s room to punch him in the stomach, the paper reported. Other reports included punching, racial slurs and even an assault on a resident who was dependent on staff who could not protect himself.
