State’s biggest CNG station opening in Columbus

The biggest compressed natural gas station is coming to north Columbus, slated to open the first week of August. Currently it is still being tested. Compressed natural gas is historically better for the environment than gasoline with fewer undesirable gasses and safer in case of a spill. It still isn’t totally replacing petrol just yet because CNG stations aren’t all that common. While the cost is higher, those who drive trucks and other commercial vehicles have tended to lean toward CNG because of their high milage driving (so they can more easily make up the expense) and the cost to have cars switched to CNG is still expensive.
