Teddy-bear stalker convicted

Kelly McDowell had been finding teddy bears on her porch cut open and tied up with condoms. She received hundreds of texts and emails from unknown sources within a month, with eerily accurate descriptions of where she was, and where she lived and what she was doing.

Her ex-boyfriend, Rodger Moore, eventually admitted that he had been stalking her, but took the case to a trial to prove he had not been trespassing when he was placing items on her porch. Several times messages McDowell received threatened her ex-boyfriend, and once roses appeared by her car saying they were for her ex-boyfriend because he might be in the hospital. Moore was convicted of two felony counts of menacing by stalking on Monday.
