Teen struck, driving facing charges

14-year-old Arianna Brown was walking on the shoulder of Woodcrest Road when allegedly, April Vacca veered her 2000 Ford Mustang into the girl on the shoulder. NBC4 has reported that according to court reports she was allegedly under the influence of alcohol or drugs and was already under a driving suspension for a previous OVI. Brown was taken in critical condition to Nationwide Children’s. Vacca has since been arrested and charged with a felony count of aggravated vehicular assault.
