Tenth Anniversary Of Alrosa Villa Shooting
Today is the 10 year anniversary of the Alrosa Villa shooting. The band Damageplan was performing at the north Columbus club when 25-year-old Nathan Gale opened fire. Pantera guitarist, “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott, who was onstage playing with the band, was shot and killed in front of about 200 guests, along with four others. The Alrosa Villa remains open for concerts, but closes every year on the anniversary.
