The battle of the burbs: Hilliard vying for Amazon too
If you’ve been following this ongoing attempt for the Amazon data center, you might be thinking, I thought Dublin was trying to get the center? Yep. Dublin is, and now so is Hilliard. The Hilliard City Council approved a property tax deal so Vadata, Amazon’s data affiliate will nestle down in Hilliard. Dublin on the other hand has proposed just handing over 68 acres to the company in order to land the deal. The center could be split into three different parts, according to Columbus Business First and the data center could be spread among central Ohio’s communities.
