Three guilty in a torture case on the Hilltop
A torture case that haunted three victims, has had three guilty pleas. Both Marnell Jones, 29, and Belynda Coffman, 24 pleaded guilty with plea offers and Martin Hudson, 46, admitted to tampering evidence. The case stems from an incident in 2013 when two men and a woman allegedly went to a home on the Hilltop for drugs and were forced inside at gunpoint. The prosecutor said that they were threatened with a saw held close to their necks and the men were tied up in the basement, beaten, kicked, hit with a small baseball bat and had teeth pulled with pliers. The woman was forced to perform oral sex and one of the men was held for ransom, according to the Dispatch. The victims were eventually released and told not to talk to anyone about the incident.
