Wal-Mart: AEP utility bill too complicated to understand
Wal-Mart has made a request for AEP Ohio to simplify its bills, because they are too difficult to understand, according to Columbus Business First. The store said the bills are “untenable for customers to be able to evaluate their rates given the array of multiple riders that apply under the company’s rate and rider framework.” The store (one of the highest grossing in the world) has asked AEP to send a simplified base rate by May of 2018. Those at Wal-Mart believe a base rate would help to make the rate structure more simple.
