Thirty-One Gifts has entered the jewelry-game after it acquired Utah-artisan jewelry company Jewel Kade. The company plans to launch its own line, JK by Thirty-One, this spring. Cindy Monroe, founder of Thiry-One said that they looked at Jewel Kade (founded by Janet Kinkade) because like Thrirty-One, it was a company launched in the basement of an entrepreneurial woman with a family who wanted success on her own terms.
With the proposed launch in spring, it looks like April showers won’t be bring May flowers, but artisan jewelry.
