The Columbus Dispatch reports that Borror Properties want to knock down the former Red Zone nightclub near the corner of Main and Front Streets downtown. If approved, a 75-unit apartment building would take its place.

The 6-story building would include two levels of parking on bottom with four levels of housing on top. More than half of the units would be studios with the rest being a mix of one- and two-bedroom layouts.

If all goes according to plan, construction would begin in the spring of 2016 to be completed in the spring or summer of the following year.  (jj)
