A kickin’ hot chicken takeover at Columbus Crew SC
First it was a new name for the stadium and now its a new set of dining options inside for Columbus Crew SC. The club announced today a new slate of food offerings for MAPFRE Stadium including Hot Chicken Takeover, Jeni’s Ice Cream and Schmidt’s Sausage Haus. Crew SC says that its all part of the plan to offer more local food and beverage options. Columbus Brewery, Four String Brewery, Land-Grant Brewing and Elevator Brewing among others will be serving up suds. The club also promises a number of food trucks on the stadium plaza as well. (jj)
*AND we just got our first look inside the new Hot Chicken Takeover food truck. The truck will be on-site this Saturday at MAPFRE Stadium.
