And the 6th CBJ Captain is…
In what should come as no surprise, the Blue Jackets have named their sixth captain: Nick Foligno. It’s been pretty widely accepted/expected that CBJ would name Foligno during their press conference this morning, since he fits the bill as a clear-cut leader for the team. The Blue Jackets have been without a captain for three years, after Rick Nash was traded to the NY Rangers in 2012. The team has made some pretty impressive play-off headway sans captain, so it’ll be interesting to see how far some *official* leadership will get them. (deb)
