footballnowA Spartan field goal ended Saturday’s Buckeye home game in a fashion that fans and players are not accustom to…defeat. Michigan State delivered a stunning upset to Ohio State, 17 – 14.

In speaking with the media after the game, running back Ezekiel Elliott pulled no punches in laying much of the responsibility for the loss at the feet of his coaches:

What happened today, it was kind of like a bad, bad dream. Offense had a rough day, and I’m disappointed. I’m disappointed in the play calling, I’m disappointed in the situations we were put in, and I wish it all played out differently.

Elliott also made clear the has no intentions of returning to the team next year:

This is my last game in the Shoe. I mean there’s no chance of me coming back next year.

Like Elliott, quarterback Cardale Jones also revealed his plans not to return next year…and instead declare for the NFL draft.
