Droning on: documentarians following Ohio State’s Braxton Miller

Ohio State’s Braxton Miller missed the 2014 season due to injury. Documentarians Regis Williams and Korey “Kmagic” Faulks don’t plan to miss anything.

Williams and Faulks are following Miller’s every move this year courtesy of a Phantom 3 Vision camera drone. The three have been friends since high school and have Miller’s approval on the project. The concept is in Faulks’ wheelhouse as someone who works shooting documentaries, music videos and commercials. So when the idea of tracing the Buckeye quarterback’s receiver’s final year at Ohio State presented itself, he knew that it was something that he wanted to do.

Working title: The Return of the Real

The filmmakers are following Miller’s moves through town and to practice where they say that the reception has been anything but negative. (Unless you count co-defensive coordinator Luke Fickell asking the pair about their droid. Close, coach.)

As for the final project, the pair says that it’s just for Braxton Miller. But depending on how it turns out and the final story of the piece…who knows?  (jj)
