*Update* Former Buckeye Pryor witnesses mall shooting
Update: 17 year-old Tarod Thornhill, who opened fire Saturday at Pittsburgh’s Monroeville Mall, was arrested around 3:15AM yesterday. Thornhill started shooting outside the Macy’s department store around 7:30PM (Sat). According to Police Chief Douglas Cole, two men and a woman were shot, including the man who was targeted by Thornhill.
As of yesterday, both men are in critical condition and the woman was in fair condition. They were taken to Forbes Hospital, which went on lockdown until 3:42 a.m. Sunday (after they arrived).

Former Buckeye quarterback Terrelle Pryor says that he was a witness to a shooting at the Monroeville Mall (just outside of Pittsburgh) Saturday night. In a tweet, since deleted, Terrelle said “Damn was just in monroeville mall and just saw 2 ppl get shot. They are letting guns go in there.”
In all, three people were shot in the incident that took place inside the lower level of a Macy’s department store. At last report, two of the victims were critically injured. The third was listed in serious condition. The alleged shooter was later apprehended with the aid of social media. A post on instagram before the shooting showed the suspect wearing the same clothes as in surveillance video from the mall.
*Terrelle Pryor signed a one-year contract last month with the Kansas City Chiefs. (jj)
