Here in Columbus, it’s good to be a football fan

It’s good news for football fans in Columbus (and the rest of the state). WalletHub released a ranking of the “Best and Worst Cities for Football Fans” and alot of Ohio cities made the “best” part of the list, including Columbus. The  city came in at #38. WalletHub says Ohio has some of the most loyal fans and spokesperson Jill Gonzales said, “You have two great NFL teams – or two great fanbases at least – in the north and the south of the state and then you have college football bringing it all together in the middle.” Looks like WalletHub has realized what Ohioans already know: we love us some football! (deb)

Ohio cities making the list

  • Cincinnati – #8
  • Cleveland – #24
  • Bowling Green – #34
  • Columbus – #38
  • Athens – #63
  • Oxford – #90
  • Toledo = #99
  • Kent – #108
  • Akron – #139
