Reaction: Ohio State hater Mark May gets pushed out

The disrespect was mutual. For Buckeye fans, ESPN analyst Mark May was a guy who always had it out for Ohio State. And in response, Buckeye fans couldn’t stand that guy. So when the reports came in that May was being pushed off of ESPN’s College Football Final show, fans rejoiced.

Bahahaha. Shoulda been done a long time ago but #ESPN finally realized @mark_may’s lack of credibility. #fired #loser – @Airman_Betts

Mark May got off easy. I wanted him to suffer through an entire season on ESPN with Ohio State as undisputed National Champions. – @Gobucks2736

Previous: Ohio State hater Mark May gets pushed out 6/1/15

Let’s call this a great a day for Ohio State football fans. It’s a day of changes at College Football Final. With ESPN bumping Rece Davis up to College GameDay and Lou Holtz leaving the network altogether, the decision has now been reached to push noted Buckeye hater Mark May from the show as well. <hold for applause>

Beginning next season, the show will be hosted by Adnan Virk, Danny Kanell and former Ohio State wide receiver Joey Galloway. (How’s that for irony?)

Just to note…Mark May is not leaving ESPN completely. He’ll be part of a new college football show with John Saunders and Mack Brown.  (jj)
