With the Blue Jackets hosting the LA Kings Tuesday night, the CBJ were struggling to hold onto a 1-goal lead with less than 90 seconds to go in the game. Columbus goalie Sergei Bobrovsky had left the game injured just minutes earlier putting back-up Curtis McElhinney in to hold the score. One got by him.

The Kings were able to tie things up and the teams went to overtime. With 27 seconds remaining, the Kings scored again. This one was the game winner handing the Blue Jackets a tough loss, 3 – 2.

Afterwards, CBJ head coach John Tortorella said that he did not know the extent of Bobrovsky’s injury. His top goalie will be re-examined today.
