Jeni’s heads to Chi Town … again!
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is at it again. The ice cream magician is opening a second Chicago shop, according to real estate blog DNAinfo. The new ice cream scoopery will be in Wicker Park (1505 N. Milwaukee Ave.) and is slated to open on St. Patrick’s Day.
*Jeni’s is also hitting the road this week. They’ll be rolling around Austin’s SXSW “South Bites” with their food truck. More info

Westward Ho! Jeni takes her splendid ice creams to the City of Angels
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams has announced expansion plans again. The Central Ohio chain, already with stores in cities including Atlanta, Nashville and Chicago, is branching further out…all the way to Los Angeles. This will be the 19th store for owner Jeni Britton Bauer. (jj)

Jeni’s hits St. Louis for the first time
St. Louis is in for a treat. Literally. Jeni’s is heading to the city to open up her first shop in the city, and expanding her ice cream empire to 20 shops. The concept will be similar to the shops that Columbus has come to love and enjoy with odd flavors (that may or may not stress out first timers).
