Pssst. Hey, you! You wanna be in a movie with John Travolta?
If Nicolas Cage, Christian Slater and Kirstie Alley can be in movies with John Travolta, then so can you. By now, you’ve probably heard that a new Travolta film called I Am Wrath is set to begin production in Columbus. Producers are now on the hunt for (500) extras to appear in the film. Those interested are asked to e-mail [email protected]. They’re also looking for cars (1995 and later) to be used in the background. Those interested should email [email protected]. The film will also be using police cars, a SWAT team vehicle, an ambulance, and a hearse.
But please keep your expectations in check. If you end up meeting the star, do not expect Mr. Travolta to pronounce your name correctly. #AdeleDazeem (jj)

February 13, 2015 – Travolta to seek justice in Columbus?
We may not have landed the Democratic National Convention, but it looks like Columbus could be getting something even better…John Travolta. The actor is in talks to star in the upcoming action-thriller I Am Wrath. The story revolves around a man who grows frustrated with the police’s inability to find his wife’s killer. He soon discovers corruption inside the police department and turns vigilante.
The movie, to be directed by Chuck Russell (Eraser, The Scorpion King), is set to begin production in Columbus (particularly around the Statehouse, German Village, and OSU). next month. (jj)
