Bobcats to stage theater performances in Dublin
Dublin officials will begin welcoming student actors from Ohio University next year to stage a series of summer productions.
OU students for decades had put on seasonal LIVE performances at a theater in Massachusetts, but to paraphrase a quote from a former New York politician ‘the rent was too damn high.’ Administrators from Ohio University began talking with folks in Dublin about moving their program to the Abbey Theater in the Dublin Community Recreation Center. Now, with all parties agreed, performances will begin in the summer of 2016.
