In a promo stunt that NBC is billing as Rokerthon 2: Taking America by Storm, Roker has set a goal of delivering weather forecasts from all fifty states this week. Forecasts will air across most NBC stations including the main peacock network, MSNBC and CNBC. Getting Al’s face is front of a television camera is not a problem. Finding a realistic way to physically get him from coast-to-coast and everywhere in between…and beyond? That’s the real trick.

Roker spoke to Shane Eyer (NetJets president) about their pledge to help the weatherman in his travels.

We’re excited to be a part of Rokerthon. But this is what we do every day. We’re committed to getting you where you want to go, at the time you want to go and arriving when you want to arrive — for each one of those legs.
