Columbus fans mourn death of Scott Weiland
In a career filled with personal setbacks and struggles, Scott Weiland certainly had his share of success…as a solo artist and with outfits like Velvet Revolver and others. He’s best known of course for his time as frontman for the alternative music band Stone Temple Pilots.
Weiland was found dead on his tour bus last night in Minnesota at the age of 48.
Through the various stages of his career, Weiland made many appearances in Columbus. His most recent visit was in 2015 as part of the Rock on the Range music festival (pictured here).
Very sad to hear about Scott Weiland’s passing. STP was a major part of the soundtrack from my school days. Music lost a great frontman today.
