Columbus Radio: Game over at 95.5, Magic moves and the Joy returns

Columbus radio listeners may notice some changes on their dial.

Radio One, who recently purchased the 95.5 frequency, has brought an end to The Game sports format on that channel. In it’s place today, listeners will find Magic 106.3. The Urban AC station is simulcasting at both frequencies right now as it makes the move to 95.5 as Columbus’ Best R&B…the NEW MAGIC.

As for permanent plans at 106.3 with Magic moving down the dial, stay tuned.

Meanwhile, country music station 107.1 (also recently purchased by Radio One), it will become the NEW JOY, returning the inspirational / gospel format after a 4-year absence from the market.  (jj)
