The word sundance likely conjures up a couple of things. There’s Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid. And there’s the highly-respected annual Sundance Film Festival. But now, it also has a tight connection with the folks over at the Gateway Film Center.
The Sundance Institute’s Art House Project has selected 23 American theaters for special recognition this year….and your friendly neighborhood Gateway Film Center is among the honorees.
The collective says that these theaters were found to meet “high standards including: quality programming, deep involvement with their local communities, strong financial standing, and recognition from their peers and their communities.”
Congratulations to the Gateway Film Center. (jj)
