Kings Island announces new watery thrills for 2016
Kings Island today announced plans for an exciting addition to their Soak City water park.
The Cincinnati-area theme park will open a new 7-story series of water slides (called Tropical Plunge) inside Soak City in 2016. Three different high-speed slides will be featured. Riders will stand in place atop the slide where the floor will then drop out from beneath them, dropping them through a winding, watery flume of curves.
Additionally, a new entrance will be constructed on the North side of the Kings Island parking lot. The park says that the entry will be a more welcoming one with 13 visitor lanes to help the flow of guests. (jj)
