Ludacris among acts added to 2015 FMMF

Organizers of the this year’s Fashion Meets Music Festival today announced additional acts for this year’s event. Ludacris has been added to the bill for Saturday, September 5th. St. Vincent and Andy Grammr have been added to the Sunday, September 6th line-up. (jj)

FMMF isn’t until September, but the updates keep rolling in, as they recently announced their fashion lineup, concert schedule, and even added more musicians to the event. This year, the festival will feature designers like Linda Rowe Thomas and Kahindo Mateene (of “Project Runway”), Celeste Malvar-Stewart, Esther Myong Hall, Cierra Lauren, Katelyn McClain, Bryston Walters, and Lydia Hopmann. They’re also adding new musical acts like Lights, ZZ Ward, machineheart, Kid Runner, Captiva, The Outer Vibe, LEDGES, Castle Creek, and Reptile Fiction.

And if that sounds like ALOT of stuff to see and experience, they put out their schedule so you can better plan it all out:

Sept. 5 (Sat.)

Young the Giant, O.A.R., SOJA, Allen Stone, ZZ Ward, Rachel Platten, machineheart, Truslow, Nick D’ & The Believers, Northern Whale, Kid Runner, The Outer Vibe, LEDGES, and Castle Creek, alongside runway shows from Linda Rowe Thomas, Kahindo Mateene, Celeste Malvar-Stewart, and Esther Myong Hall

Sept. 6 (Sun.)

AWOLNATION, Taking Back Sunday, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Lights, Milo Greene, Bahamas, Carbon Tigers, Captain Kidd, Our Vintage Film, The Nearly Deads, Playing to Vapors, Captiva, and Reptile Fiction, with runway shows from Cierra Lauren, Katelyn McClain, Bryston Walters, and Lydia Hopmann

Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, this year will have After Party events from Sept. 4th-6th at Park Street Complex. (deb)

FMMF announces 2015 headliners

The second annual Fashion Meets Music Festival has released their 2015 headliners. The festival, which aims to fuse fashion and music into one epic experience for Cbusrs, will take place over Labor Day weekend (Sept. 5-6) and tickets will go on sale starting tomorrow (3/27) at 10AM.
