Movie theater chains trying to stomp the little guy?

shutterstock_129383348Having recently wrapped up his investigation into Planned Parenthood clinics, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine is moving on to the next thing on his list…movie theaters.

The AG is now looking into the possibility of anti-trust violations involving the Regal, AMC and Cinemark movie chains. At issue is whether or not these businesses used unfair practices to keep independent movie houses from entering the market.

In a released statement regarding the investigation, DeWine says:

The chains in question have not commented publicly on the accusations.
