Scioto Downs announces construction of new hotel

Scioto Downs recently opened their new Brew Brothers brew pub and early reviews have been favorable. But the racino south of I-270 isn’t done just yet.

Scioto Downs’ owner Eldorado Resorts has announced plans for a 118-room Hampton Inn and Suites hotel. Construction is set to begin this month and completed late next year. In addition, the gaming outlet is still to open a new bakery and a refreshed version of their Dash Cafe before the end of 2015. Guests can also look for a name change before the year is out. Scioto Downs will become Eldorado Scioto Downs complete with new signage to reflect the property ownership.  (jj)
