Books and burritos: Tortilla expands to Columbus State
Students and teachers aren’t the only ones headed to class this fall.
The folks behind the very popular Tortilla food trucks have made their way to the campus of Columbus State. Founder Walter Eguez has set up shop at CSCC offering up a full slate of burritos, salads, quesadillas and desserts. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are also available.
As a small business searching for opportunity in a growing city, we are always looking to form alliances with those whom we share common goals and values. We feel as though CSCC is a perfect fit for us. The food truck industry is full of hardworking entrepreneurs that are dedicated, motivated and driven to succeed — much like the students of Columbus State.
– Walter Eguez, Tortilla founder
The location at Columbus State adds a second residency for Tortilla. They opened at Columbus Commons in the spring of this year…all while their food trucks continue to roll around the city.
