Chipotle to begin delivery to Ohio State campus
Ohio State students have just returned for the fall. And while many may dread early morning classes, papers to write or the occasional jerk professor to contend with, there’s plenty to be excited about as well. There’s reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, the start of the football season and…wait for it….the launch of Chipotle delivery.
WHAT?!?
Chipotle currently offers delivery service to six college campuses in California, Arizona and Louisiana. Having found success with those areas, they are ready to expand. The food chain has announced plans to expand delivery to a total of 40 college and universities this fall including Ohio State. Plans call for growing that list to 100 campuses by spring.
Chipotle partners with the food delivery app Tapingo to get their bowls, burritos and such to customers. Usual Tapingo fees run between $3 and $7 per order.
No specific date has been announced for the start of Chipotle delivery to OSU, but it is expected to begin soon. (jj)
