Creole Kitchen adding dining room, can I sit bayou?
Chef Butcher’s Creole Kitchen at 1052-B Mt. Vernon Avenue in the King-Lincoln District is expanding. The carry-out only restaurant has acquired 1052-A next door and is in the renovating process. Plans call for the addition of a 70-seat dining area with room for LIVE music.
Creole Kitchen purchased the additional space awhile back but lining up financing for renovations took some time. Changes will not be limited to structure. The menu is also changing…expanding a bit to entice new sit-down customers. With the expected added business, Creole plans to add staff including servers and more kitchen help. The expansion is expected to be complete by September. (jj)
