Explorers Club moving into Grandview’s Zauber Brewing

It’s good news for fans of the Explorers Club.

While, the Merion Village restaurant closed in June citing ‘fiscal realities,’ owners continued serving Columbus via their popular food truck. And now, it looks like they’re getting back into the restaurant game.

Explorers Club and Zauber Brewing (909 West Fifth Avenue) are joining forces. Zauber, who has had a rotating contingent of food trucks on-site to satisfy customer hungers, will open a full-fledged kitchen this Labor Day weekend. The Explorers Club Kitchen will offer patrons long-time favorites from their menu with additional Bavarian-inspired items as well.

The Explorers Club folks will get Thursday nights off. On those nights, customers can expect the Paddy Wagon food truck to fill the gap.

Explorers begins serving at Zauber on September 5th. They’ll begin offering lunch as well on September 15th.  (jj)
