Game on: Crosswoods’ Level One Bar + Arcade open for business
The hottest game in town appears to be the opening of bars with retro video games.
With the continued success of places like 16-Bit and the Old North Arcade…and the upcoming opening of Brewcadia in the Short North…the appetite for these combination bar / arcades continues to grow. That’s good news for the owners of Level One (130 Hutchinson Avenue) in the Crosswoods area of North Columbus.
Level One lays claim to the city’s largest collection of classic arcade and pinball games. There’s no kitchen, so don’t expect to stop in for dinner, but the beer selection is solid. Level One has 24 local and regional craft offerings on tap including selections from Zauber, North High and Four String Brewing.
