Graeter’s takes a gamble
Cincinnati’s Graeter’s is all in for a new venture with Las Vegas’ Caesar’s Palace. The ice cream store has already been looking to expand outside of Ohio, but a push from a casino official who, “really loves Graeter’s ice cream” has gotten them to make a move out to the desert — or rather, a VERY small move.
Graeter’s opened their tiniest store, a 100sqft (or 10×10) shop inside the food court at Caesar’s Palace. It’s an expensive and experimental venture, and retail chief Chip Graeter told the Cincinnati Business Courier that they’ll just have to see what they can churn out. (deb)
