Jeni’s releases special fall flavors

Here’s some exciting new for fans of Jeni’s. The splendid ice cream shop has revealed their special treats for the fall season. These are limited-edition flavors that will be available through the end of December.

Sweet Potato Pecan Praline (Roasted sweet potatoes, cinnamon-brown-sugar pecans and Ohio grass-grazed milk)
Churro (Red-hot cinnamon ice cream with pieces of toffee and flakes of pastry)
Dark Chocolate Peppermint (intense dark chocolate with a super-cool peppermint finish)
Buttercup Pumpkin with Amaretti Cookies (sweet squash, roasted for caramelization and pulverized into cream with a smattering of amaretti cookies)

These flavors bring me back to a classic holiday celebration, from sweet potato casserole to pumpkin pie. I want people to enjoy them as they would a Thanksgiving or holiday feast, passing a pint of ice cream to their neighbor at the table.
