While Wendy’s has been planning several new franchises for this year, it’s also widening its intentions. The fast food chain is expanding its international presence by opening new stores in the Middle East and North Africa.
The exact number of new Wendy’s isn’t known, but the United Arab Emirates already has 18 Wendy’s and it there are plans to open new stores in Kuwait. It’ll be interesting to see where in the Middle East Wendy’s pops up, and the menu changes they’ll have to make to appeal to this new market. (deb)
