Coleman ‘send off’ event planned

11709358_967144116650292_6837044660629235458_nThe Mayor’s Office has announced plans for a ‘send off’ event honoring outgoing Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman. The event is planned for noon on Thursday, December 31st on the steps of City Hall. The city’s 52nd and longest-serving mayor is exiting with newly-elected Andrew Ginther waiting in the wings.

My guess is that Ginther (who was endorsed by Coleman) will be on-hand for the event, but that Franklin County Sheriff Zach Scott will have a scheduling conflict and be unable to attend.
