Decisions, Decisions: Election Day today

It is Election Day in Ohio. Voters will be making decisions in many competitive local races and a handful of hot-button statewide issues.

In Columbus, it’s decision day for Andrew Ginther and Zach Scott. One of them will be elected as the city’s next mayor before the day is out. Voters will also be making choices for Columbus City Council.

A couple of levy renewals are on the ballot…the Columbus Zoo and ADAMH (Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health).

Statewide, voters will be looking at:

Issue 1: a measure to set up a new way for drawing Ohio’s legislative districts

Issue 2: bans monopolies from the state constitution

Issue 3: the ResponsibleOhio state constitutional amendment dealing with the legalization of marijuana for medicinal and recreational use

Polls are open until 7:30pm.
