Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine on Friday urged the U.S. Supreme Court to leave the Buckeye state’s ban on same-sex marriage in place. Ohio voters approved a ban in 2004, but it…along with bans in 3 other states…will soon be in front of the court. Arguments will be heard on April 28th as to whether or not such bans are constitutional. DeWine says that a ruling against the voters would “forever place into our Constitution only one perspective on marriage.” The court is expected to rule by the end of June. (jj)
