Fire fighters carry a torch for Ginther in upcoming vote

The endorsement war continues in the battle to be the next mayor of Columbus. Last week, it was Zach Scott earning the endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police. And now, its Andrew Ginther earning the nod from the fire fighters union. The Columbus Fire Fighters Union is throwing its support behind the City Council President in the upcoming mayoral primary. The vote, pitting Scott and Ginther against fellow candidates James Ragland and Terry Boyd, is scheduled for May 5th.  (jj)
