GOP adds name to mayoral race
At last night’s meeting, the Franklin County Republican Central Committee unanimously chose Terry Boyd as its candidate for mayor. Boyd, a former Columbus school board president, will join City Council President Andrew Ginther (endorsed by Mayor Coleman) and Franklin County Sheriff Zach Scott as mayoral candidates.
Boyd’s entrance will cause a May primary against himself and the two Democrats, with the top two running against each other in November. (deb)
