It’s safety first for new OSU study

The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and Board of Regents has awarded OSU with three grants, totaling $578,000, to study improvements on workplace safety like injury prevention and illnesses on the job. Specifically, the three grants will look at:

lower back and shoulder disorders caused from pushing and pulling tasks
preventing musculoskeletal disorders
studying safety and health risks at stored grain facilities

At least someone is keeping the ole “safety first” motto in mind. (deb)
