Jeb Bush is his “own person”

It’s barely election season, and already politicians are making their way to Ohio. Last night, potential Presidential candidate Jeb Bush took the stage at the Riffe Center as a speaker at the annual Ohio Chamber of Commerce meeting. The former Florida governor addressed Ohio business leaders and talked about being his “own person.”

“I built a business and I hope you all as Chamber members will appreciate this. I’ve actually signed the front side of a paycheck which puts me in a different category than most people in government.”

His speech during the event sounded an awful lot like campaign talk. But so far, he’s made no move to formally announce a Presidential run. Although, if he does run, his appearance last night would make him the first candidate to visit “Battleground” Ohio. (deb)
