Jeni’s to DNC, “We’re your salty caramel. Unexpected, revelatory, beloved.”
Columbus is looking to sweeten the pot in its bid to host the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams recently send possible selectors a package of its special flavor “White House blueberry” along with a note from founder Jeni Britton Bauer. The note said, “New York and Philly are great, traditional options. Anyone who’s had vanilla, strawberry or chocolate knows this.” But Columbus, she wrote, “We’re your salty caramel. Unexpected, revelatory, beloved.”
