Kasich doesn’t play second fiddle

And so the “is Kaisch running for President?” saga continues. While he hasn’t declared anything, the Governor made some pretty “yes he is” comments on Sunday’s This Week. During the segment, Kasich said he was optimistic and if his  numbers continue to do well, he’ll definitely be running. And given that he just met with a former McCain advisor, it seems like it’s just a matter of time before we hear: Presidential candidate John Kasich.

Some have speculated that all this hoopla over his potential candidacy is just a means to get his name out there as a vice presidential candidate. But Kasich wants us to know that’s not the case. He told This Week‘s Jonathan Karl: “Forget it, Jon. I don’t play for second.” (deb)
