Screen Shot 2015-10-29 at 3.34.46 PMWith nearly 541,000 people registered, the Franklin County Board of Elections is reporting that only 13,174 ballots have been cast through early or absentee voting. That’s less than 2.5% of eligible registered voters weighing in on highly covered issues like the Columbus mayor’s race and the proposed statewide constitutional amendment on the legalization of marijuana.

The Columbus Dispatch reports that mayoral candidates Andrew Ginther and Zach Scott are both expecting a roughly 20% turnout once all votes have been cast.

Voters still have the opportunity to cast ballots early at the Franklin County Board of Elections (1700 Morse Road).

  • 8am to 7pm – today and tomorrow
