Zach Scott gets a boost in mayoral race
The end of the week brought a much-needed boost to the mayoral campaign of Franklin County Sheriff Zach Scott. The Columbus Fraternal Order of Police has thrown its endorsement to Scott. This represents the first time that the organization has ever endorsed a candidate in a mayoral primary.
Scott and three others are battling it out to be the next mayor of Columbus. The primary takes place May 5th. The top two finishers will advance to November’s general election. (jj)
