Bank robbing couple busted after posting pics with the money on Facebook
Police have arrested a couple that they say robbed an Ashville, Ohio bank. The pair of geniuses posted photos of themselves with the money on Facebook just days after the August 24th heist.
One photo shows 28 year-old John Morgan pretending to eat a stack of the stolen cash. Another shows him holding the money up to his ear like a telephone. 24 year-old alleged accomplice Ashley Duboe also appears in the pics. As I said…geniuses.
The couple is accused of robbing the Savings Bank in Ashville (just a few miles south of Columbus). Officials say that Duboe drove Morgan to the bank and helped him to apply make-up to his face and neck to cover his many tattoos before he entered the branch.
Morgan had just been released from prison in July….after having served time on a 2010 bank robbery conviction. (jj)
