Couple looks for 5-finger discount at Kohl’s BEFORE Black Friday
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers has named an attempted shoplifting at the Sawmill Road Kohl’s store as their Crime of the Week.
On the afternoon of September 27th (as John McCown was throwing an interception to end a Browns comeback rally vs the Ravens), an unidentified man and woman entered the store. The woman appeared to be browsing and caught the attention of store detectives as she filled her cart with clothing…without bothering to check sizes. She also took stacks of items off of some shelves and loaded them into the cart.
Once her cart was full, she circumnavigated the checkout lanes and began to push the items out the front door and into the parking lot. Store security intervened to prevent a successful theft. The woman ran outside, jumped into a red car and was gone.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for the indictment or conviction of the suspects.
Suspect #1: Female/White, heavy build, dark long hair, wearing a long-sleeved, hooded green (zipper) front sweat shirt, jeans, and white tennis shoes.
Suspect #2: Male/White, short dark hair, prominent nose bridge, wearing a white “Ohio State” baseball cap w/ red bill, long-sleeved gray knit shirt w/ white “seagull” symbol, and dark jeans.
